CROSS COUNTRY

I would like to thank all OLS athletes in Grades 2-7 that took part in our cross country running program this year. I would especially like to thank and congratulate our students that took part in the recent CISVA Cross Country Championships, held at Swangard Stadium.  We had an excellent turnout this year, with 88 students taking part in either the competitive run or the fun run. Thank you for your hard work and dedication.

A special thank you to all the teachers and teaching assistants for helping out at the various cross country meets.  A very special thank you to Mr. Balletta for his continued support for our cross country program and for providing us with the resources to ensure a successful program.

Congratulations to our team as we finished in 5th place overall out of 39 schools taking part.  Furthermore, OLS finished in 3rd place in the small school category, out of 31 schools.  Well done OLS!!  We are very proud of the tremendous effort that you put into cross country this year. Keep working hard.

Congratulations to the following students that finished in the top 20 (out of a possible 156 in each race) in the CISVA Cross Country Championship Meet.
