Dear parents,

This is a busy time of year with the usual changes in routine with track and many extra things happening in the school.

Here are some goals/ activities for the week:

Monday to Wednesday we are finishing up on our documentary movies about different First Nation topics.   This will be informative and amusing, as we are using our green screen apps, and Claymation.

In math we are finishing perimeter and area, with a quiz on Thursday.   In science we have started the science of sound. This will culminate with a second applied skills project involving a homemade musical instrument that shows variations in volume and pitch.

I have taken great care the past few weeks assessing and looking closely basic Language Arts skills in writing and reading.   Improvement and growth will be reported on in the June reports.   I am pleased with the growth and improvement I am seeing.

As always, thanks for the support.

Sincerely,

Mr. P. Stocker
