JANUARY 29, 2023 – FIRST HOLY COMMUNION ENROLMENT MASS & FAMILY MASS
The First Holy Communion Enrolment Mass and Family Mass will be held on Sunday, January 29th at 11:30 a.m. We invite all families from Grade 2 and OLS to celebrate the Family Mass. This is a wonderful way for our families to attend and participate in the required Sunday liturgy.
GR. 7 FUNDRAISING COMMITTEE UPDATE
February 2 and 3, 2023 – OLS Basketball Concession
We will be hosting a Grade 5 Basketball Tournament on Thursday, February 2nd and Friday February 3rd. The Grade 7’s and their parents will be running a concession at the tournament on BOTH days from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. You are welcome to pre-order concession items to ensure availability or feel free to send money with your child(ren) on these days to purchase at the event on a “first come, first serve basis.” Students will get to watch and cheer on our school team during their gym period, at lunch, or afterschool. Please return your order form together with payment (cash or cheque) by Friday, January 27th. Cheques should be made payable to “OLS Grade 7 Fundraising Committee.”
February 11, 2023 – Miami Nights – Back to the 80’s
The Grade 7 Fundraising Committee is hosting a fundraising night on Saturday, February 11th. Ticket order forms have been sent home and are due back no later than Friday, January 27th. Each ticket costs $50, which includes a free drink, an array of foods, music, dancing, games, ice cream from Glenburn Soda Fountain and late-night pizza from Straight Outta Brooklyn NYC Pizza. Dust off your best Miami Vice inspired 80’s look and be ready to have some fun! This is an adult only event. Payment can be made by cash or cheque payable to OLS Gr 7 fundraising committee.

Ongoing Bottle Drive – Return-It Express
The Grade 7 Fundraising Committee is collecting bottles again this year. It’s easy! Simply place your empties in clear bags and drop them off at any “Return-It Express” depot (link to locations here). The school’s account is under our main phone number (604-253-2434).
