Dear Parents,
Thank you for continuing to follow all parent advisories and being aware of the upcoming issues with parking and road closures! Also, a great big thank you to our drop-off and pick-up parent volunteers who continue to keep our students safe. PLEASE continue to drive SLOW, and be careful entering the drop-off zones, as the heavy rains and poor visibility makes it more difficult to see children and cars moving.
*Again, we ask that parents move students quickly behind the safety cones and refrain from allowing students to run between cars or through the parking lot when dropping off.
Also, a reminder that dogs and pets are NOT allowed on the playground or on the school lot. We all love dogs, however, due to the many public health restrictions, dogs must remain either in your cars or outside the gates. Our school children are automatically drawn to dogs; therefore, we have had increased security and safety issues around students running to the fenced areas to pet them. This also causes the dogs more stress. Please keep your dogs outside the grounds when picking up or dropping off. Thank you for your consideration.
FIRST WEEK OF ADVENT (HOPE)
This week marks the first week of Advent as we lit the first candle in our Parish Advent Wreath (the candle of HOPE). We ask all families to follow the Advent Calendars our students received last week, daily, so to prepare for our yearly spiritual renewal and following our Christian traditions. If your family would like another ADVENT Calendar, please let our office know. Let us continue to celebrate our faith and be “Hopeful” in these difficult times.
