After School Band Program 2025-2026

Band Program Information

Band Director: Mr. Passmore
(Band teacher at Notre Dame Regional Secondary and Our Lady of Sorrows)

We are excited to offer a Band Program for students in Grades 6 and 7 at Our Lady of Sorrows School.

• When: Mondays from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM

• Where: Our Lady of Sorrows School

• Start Date: Monday, September 8
  (Initial classes will be exploratory, allowing students to try out a variety of instruments before choosing one.)

Students and their families are expected to rent, purchase, or have access to a reasonably good-quality band instrument by October 1.

Instruments offered in the program include:

• Flute

• Clarinet

• Alto Saxophone

• Trumpet

• Trombone

• Euphonium

• Percussion (Snare Drum and Bells)

Please note: string instruments such as guitar, electric bass, violin, and cello are not included in the beginner Band program.
