APRIL 20, 2023 – CLASS PHOTO DAY
Please make sure students come to school dressed in full uniform and pack their gym strip fi they have gym class.
APRIL 20 AND 21, 2023 – LICE CHECKS
The next school-wide lice check will be conducted on Thursday, April 20th and Friday, April 21st. Thank you to Mrs. Kraljevic for doing this once again.
APRIL 22, 2023 – CONFIRMATION RETREAT
The Grade Seven Confirmation Retreat will be held on Saturday, April 22nd at 1:15 pm. Please refer to the information sent home by the Grade Seven teacher.
APRIL 24, 2023 – EARTH DAY – COLOUR DAY
Dress down in earth colour tones on Monday, April 24th. Those children having gym class on this day are still required to wear gym strip under their clothes. There is NO CHARGE for this Colour Day!
APRIL 24, 2023 – GRADE 7 ANNUAL BAKE SALE
The Annual Grade 7 Bake Sale will take place on Monday, April 24th. Treats will cost $2.00 each.
APRIL 29, 2023 – FIRST COMMUNION RETREAT
The Grade Two First Communion Retreat will be held on Saturday, April 29th at 2:00 pm. Please refer to the information sent home by the Grade Two teacher.
APRIL 30, 2023 – FAMILY MASS
The Family Mass will held be on Sunday, April 30th at 11:30 a.m. We invite all families from OLS to celebrate the Family Mass. This is a great way for our families to attend and participate in the required Sunday liturgy.
MAY 1 – 8, 2023 – VIRTUAL SILENT AUCTION COMING!
We are excited to bring back our 3rd annual Spring Silent Auction! There will be amazing items to bid on including the popular – front row tickets to the OLS Christmas Concert! The event will take place for 6 days only beginning on Monday, May 1st. Bidding will close on Monday, May 8th at 8:30 p.m. We are currently seeking more prizes. If you or your company would like to donate an item, an experience, or tickets, we will gladly accept your generous donation. Please drop off items at the office prior to the start date of the auction or email the fundraising committee with the details at olsfundraising@gmail.com. We will happily advertise your company on the 32auctions website (https://www.32auctions.com/). Thank you so much for supporting our school event!

Gr. 7 FUNDRAISING – ONGOING BOTTLE DRIVE – RETURN-IT EXPRESS
The Grade 7 Fundraising Committee is collecting bottles again this year. It’s easy! Simply place your empties in clear bags and drop them off at any “Return-It Express” depot (link to locations here). The school’s account is under our main phone number (604-253-2434).
