MORNING CARE UPDATE
To continue running Morning Care Club, we require a minimum of three families to attend. If this requirement is not met, it will be cancelled after Spring Break and will resume in September 2024.
If you are still interested in using this service, please contact the office ASAP.
FEBRUARY 25, 2024 – FAMILY MASS
The Family Mass will be on Sunday, February 25th at 11:30 a.m. We invite all families from OLS to celebrate the Family Mass. This is a wonderful way for our families to attend and participate in the required Sunday liturgy. Our next class readers for this Mass will be our Grade 5s. Also, remember to join our Knights of Columbus pancake breakfast after the Mass.
FEBRUARY 28, 2024 – KINDNESS DAY
On Wednesday, February 28th , students may dress down in their favourite “BRIGHTEST and most striking colours”. Children who have gym class on this day are still required to wear their gym strip under their clothes.
2024 SCHOOL DONATION TAX RECEIPTS
The 2023 school donation tax receipts have been sent home with your oldest child. If you have not received this, please check your child’s backpack. School tax receipts are claimed as a charitable donation, it is NOT a tuition expense.
MARCH 6, 2024 – IMPORTANT DATE! MANDATORY ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
The Mandatory General Meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 6th at 6:45 p.m. in the school gym. A member from each family must attend this mandatory meeting or a fine will be charged as per the Policy Handbook on Page 12 of your child’s Agenda. If you are unable to attend due to illness, vacation, etc., a letter must be sent addressed to the Parish Education Committee explaining why you will be absent from the meeting.
MARCH 6, 2024 – USED UNIFORM SALE
We will be hosting a used uniform sale on Wednesday, March 6th at the AGM. Please see the attached flyer for further details and instructions.

Registration packages will be distributed at the Mandatory Annual General Meeting being held on Wednesday, March 6th. Please note that packages will not be given out prior to the meeting.

ONGOING BOTTLE DRIVE – RETURN-IT EXPRESS
The Grade 7 Fundraising Committee is collecting bottles again this year. It’s easy! Simply place your empties in clear bags and drop them off at any “Return-It Express” depot (link to locations here). The school’s account is under our main phone number – 604-253-2434.
