Dear Parents,
Welcome back! As we have prepared our classrooms for the return of students this Monday January 10th at 8:45am. Our staff have been working hard this week at making classrooms more spaced, as well as going over the enhanced safety protocols and the continuation of learning procedures in case of closures.
We again are asking all students to complete a DAILY self-assessment for covid symptoms
PRIOR TO ENTERING THE SCHOOL.
- Our enhanced safety protocols include:
- Being fully vaccinated if possible, doing a daily health check and staying home when sick
- Using available space to spread out and to respect other’s personal space
- Wearing masks in accordance with the Provincial Health Order on Face Coverings
- Washing hands regularly
- Cleaning and disinfecting surfaces at least once a day
- staggered recess and lunch times.
As per Dr. Bonnie Henry’s announcement today, https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/british-columbia/bc-covid-update-1.6307474
As mentioned, schools will be adapting to the rapid changes in Omicron infections weekly. We will be following all provincial protocols. Please follow the CDC guidelines for positive tests. http://www.bccdc.ca/Health-Info-Site/Documents/Tested-positive-COVID19.pdf
*Again, let us continue to work together to ensure safety for all.
