By January 12, 2022 No Comments

Dear Parents,

Welcome back! As we have begun our in person learning this week, we thank all parents and students for following our enhanced safety protocols and staying home if there are any signs of cold or flu symptoms.

We again are asking all students to complete a DAILY self-assessment for covid symptoms PRIOR TO ENTERING THE SCHOOL.

Our enhanced safety protocols include:

  • Being fully vaccinated if possible, doing a daily health check and staying home when sick.
  • Using available space to spread out and to respect other’s personal space.
  • Wearing masks when in close proximity to others and when in hallways.
  • Washing hands regularly.
  • Cleaning and disinfecting surfaces at least once a day.
  • Staggered recess and lunch times.

As previously mentioned, schools will be adapting to the rapid changes in Omicron infections weekly. We will be following all provincial protocols. Please follow the CDC guidelines for positive tests. http://www.bccdc.ca/Health-Info-Site/Documents/Tested-positive-COVID19.pdf

We have suspended all extra-curricular activities (including basketball practices and choir) and After School Club until the week of January 24th to allow more time for the Omicron numbers to settle.
