And….Done!

Dear Parents,

As we come to our last few days in the December calendar, we are extremely grateful to all of you for taking our COVID Safety Protocols seriously, and for showing such amazing care for each and every one of our students, staff, and families! Our Goal in the September restart was to keep safe as long as possible. Thanks to all your efforts and care, we only have a few more days to go before we close for Christmas, safe, healthy, and ready for a quiet and peaceful break. Although Christmas 2020 will be very different this year with the new visiting restrictions, we can still use this time to rest and recharge, even if it’s only with our immediate families, or with virtual shares. However, even in this seemingly “isolated time”, it will still be very special to have Jesus as the reason for our quiet season, as he has been for the last two thousand and 20 years.  It will truly feel like the “First Christmas” and maybe even a modern kind of “Silent Night”. We are attaching the Christmas Mass details from Father Richard, and we hope that you all have time to Celebrate safely with the special OLS Masses on-line and drive ins.  May God Bless you all this peaceful Christmas, and we pray for your continued health and safety in the New Year! Please continue to visit www.olos.ca for all masses and Christmas Services updates! Please click here for Christmas Mass schedule.

PARISH GIVING TREE – THANK YOU!
Our students and parents are always so generous with those who are less fortunate than us, especially at Christmas time. Thank you for all your amazing donations for our “Parish Giving Tree” and all those less fortunate in our community!

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!
And finally, as we close our 2020 year, no matter how challenging the obstacles this community faces, especially these last months of COVID, we are all truly grateful for your generosity and Christian Spirit in all that you do. Thank you to all our families for your service, your many donations, and gifts, and lastly your commitment to Our Lady of Sorrows Parish and School Community. Our students and families have shown to be such bright lights throughout this dark time of uncertainty. Thank you all!
