Thank you all for attending our Annual General Meeting this past Wednesday. Once again, I especially want to thank our three PEC members who are leaving: Gino Matino (maintenance ), Lisa Mannella (participation), and Cidalia Pashalidis (Chair), for their OUTSTANDING SERVICE to our school and parish community over these past 8 years!
As mentioned by Doctor Bonnie Henry during yesterday’s update, masks will be optional after spring break for schools. There are no more indoor mask restrictions and faith services have now returned to 100% capacity. Please see the link for more details.

Again, I wish to thank our students, parents, and especially our teachers, staff and aides for continuing to follow all Ministry of Health and Ministry of Education Guidelines throughout these last two, most difficult, pandemic years! Many people within our school families and community have been impacted; however, we were able to stay open. Thank you all for doing your part to keep our students safe! Please be patient with the “return to normal” as some people will need more time to adapt.
We would like to personally wish all of you a safe and restful spring break! If you are planning to travel outside of Canada, children under the age of 12 traveling with vaccinated parents no longer have to isolate. Please see the link for more details.

Finally, thank you to all of our students who continue to pray for PEACE in the Ukraine and who brought donations for the Ukrainian relief fund today. We appreciate your efforts and may God bless you and your families!

NOTICE FROM HOT LUNCH COMMITTEE
It appears that many parents have forgotten or have not completed their order for the regular Spring Hot Lunch Session (February 24th to June 16th). Kids have been coming to school with no lunch with the assumption they have placed an order. The hot lunch moms have provided them with a lunch anyways, but it may not always be feasible.
The spring session opened and closed in January. This session is separate from the Grade 7 spring session that just closed on March 10th. Please check your MunchaLunch account to see if you ordered the spring session.
If you did not order the spring session, or didn’t complete it, you can place an order for it starting today until March 18th. Please ensure you click ‘submit’ at the end of payment in order for the lunch to be accepted. Ordering after March 18th will not be available.
If you have ordered a hot lunch for your child(ren), you should always receive an email confirmation from MunchaLunch the day before. If you do not receive a confirmation email from MunchaLunch informing you of your order, then please pack a lunch for your child. We may not always have extra lunches available.
