COVID – WEEKLY UPDATE!
As we hear of the surge of COVID cases, we are thankful that our parents and student are continuing to be careful and following our guidelines. This week, I wish to thank all our parents and especially those who have adjusted to our new pick-up and drop-offs! This week we are tightening up the morning drop-off time and asking parents to drop off by 8:55 a.m. so that teachers can start classes by 9 a.m. sharp. Doors open at 8:25 a.m. Any student who comes after 9 a.m. will be required to enter from the front doors as our staff and volunteers will be closing the back doors by 9 a.m. Thank you for continuing your safety protocols and moving slowly through our lot. Our after school pick-up is working incredibly well! Thank you to all parents who are staying safe and wearing masks in the pick-up locations, as well as keeping close to their cars while waiting for the siblings to exit!

MASKS WORK!
As the news of COVID numbers increases every day, all we can do is our part to stay safe. It is critical to remember to continue doing the daily screening checklist (also found on OLS’s website) and NOT send kids to school ill. Also continue to follow the return to school procedures found in OLS’s Newsletter-Reminders-2020-2021 for additional school information.

Also, you are reminded that our local health authority will notify the school of any direct exposures and if there happens to be any risks to our students, staff, or families.

Please continue to follow the Vancouver Coastal Health website: www.vch.ca and the exposure listings page: http://www.vch.ca/covid-19/school-exposures#.X4fbW8Vw86U.gmail

Thank you for your continued diligence!

PARISH MASSES – All SAINTS DAY AND ALL SOULS DAY!
Please visit our Parish Website: www.olos.ca for the live Masses and Live updates. In this incredibly difficult time for many of us, our Parish, Father Richard, Father Testamar, and our Religious Sisters, do a wonderful job of providing us with hope and remind us that we are not alone; Jesus is with us. The Family Masses are a wonderful way to keep connected as a family and watch and pray together virtually, or in person by appointment. Call the Parish Office: 604-254-0691 to book your space!
