PEC ELECTIONS 2023
We wish to thank Mr. Tony Medeiros as a long-standing member of our Parish Education Committee. Tony has been responsible for many of the work parties and maintenance projects around the school and parish. As he volunteered for both the meetings and the weekend projects, Tony has put in more hours than required and has been an invaluable resource and worker for all our school and parish improvements. Once again thank you, Tony! As a result of Tony’s departure, we are looking for another maintenance coordinator for the PEC. If you are interested in applying for this PEC position, please fill out the nomination form attached (please thoroughly read the eligibility and expectation requirements). Nomination forms MUST be signed by our nomination committee, Mirella Gargiulo or Laura Tempesta, and returned to the office by Friday, May 12th. All nominations will then be sent to the parish to be approved by Father Rosemond, our Pastor. All nominees must be parishioners in good standing. If you have any questions, please contact the office. Our PEC Chair, Mrs. Cristina Morra, and our Treasurer, Mr. Roger Gil, are up for re-election as well. They have agreed to stand for another 2-year term. We wish to thank all of our wonderful PEC members for their amazing leadership and service to our parish and school!

REMINDERS

AFTERSCHOOL PICK-UP
Due to the warmer weather, the children will now be spending more time outside. Therefore, the gate to the school parking lot will not be opened until 2:30 p.m. Please do not arrive earlier than 2:30 p.m. to pick-up your child(ren) and wait at the gate as this creates a backlog of traffic and a nuisance for the neighbourhood.

PARENT PARTICIPATION NEWS
If you have not been contacted by the PEC, your volunteer position will stay the same for the upcoming school year. Thank you for your continued support.
